Notifications By Different Calendars

The SLOT Appointment Booking App has introduced a new feature aimed at providing more customization for notification recipients.



Key Features:

Different Recipients by Calendar Toggle: When this feature is enabled, the system allows for distinct recipients (emails and phone numbers) to be assigned to each individual calendar. Each calendar will display its name along with the corresponding email and SMS fields for notifications.

Custom Notifications Per Calendar: Now you can specify different email addresses and phone numbers for each calendar to receive appointment notifications. If the fields are left blank, no notifications are sent for that calendar—just like with the single-recipient setting.

Adding New Calendars: When a new calendar is added while this option is already enabled, the system will automatically assign the store’s default email to the new calendar’s notification settings, while leaving the SMS field blank for customization.

To find it please click "Notification", choose "Admin Notifications" and "Recipients" on the bottom.



Also important to note:
When toggle is turned off - if all calendars have the same emails and sms, toggle is simply turned off, this value is saved as a common value for all calendars. If emails or phone numbers are different, a pop-up will appear showing all available emails and phone numbers, where the merchant can check and change the data. If no phone numbers are listed and only the emails are different, only the available emails are displayed. After clicking on Continue in the pop-up, the emails and phone numbers left are recorded as a common value for all calendars. The basic toast “Settings updated” appears.
Available exclusively for users on the Elite plan, the new "Different Recipients by Calendar" toggle gives you more control over how you manage notifications for appointments across different calendars.
